I am a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and Certified Master Social Worker with a Certificate in Gerontology, with more than 20 years of experience providing clinical support and intervention to individuals and families. I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the University Of Nebraska at Omaha in 1997.

The majority of my clinical work has been focused on supporting those who are grieving due to loss from death or health (chronic illness).

Working in the health field since 1993, I have personal and professional experience in navigating the emotional and physical toll of providing care to people with chronic, acute and terminal illnesses. I am passionate about helping people find ways to nurture themselves and find hope and renewal.

For more than two decades, I have pursued training in the area of grief and loss, including intensive training at the Center for Loss and Life Transition with Dr. Alan Wolfelt. My expertise and experience have given me the perspective and skills to help people in facing some of the more difficult aspects that are encountered with life's transitions and losses.
